Bacchus grapes are particularly well suited to our High Weald terroir, and produce a fresh, aromatic, crisp white wine. This 2022 vintage shows all the benefits of the long hot summer in the UK last year and is slightly more rounded and nuanced than our previous vintages, with strong aromas of pear and gooseberry on the nose and palate and with a deliciously smooth finish.

Our Pinot Rosé 2022 wine is a truly delightful and refreshing summer wine.

Made entirely from our own grown Pinot varieties, this wine is a mix of 35% Pinot Noir Precoce, 45% Pinot Noir (mix of clones) and 20 % Pinot Meunier.  With our warm summer of 2022 the result is an intoxicating aroma of red summer fruit produce. On the mouth the first taste is distinctly of ripe raspberries and loganberries followed by pomegranate and perhaps some red currant. The wine leaves a smooth and rounded finish. This is well balanced and a delight to drink on a summer’s afternoon – with or without food!
